Taking engagement photos for my baby sister - honestly, what greater joy?!
Haley is three years younger than me, but she's really always been like the older sister. She carries herself high and she has the kindest soul, but she takes no bullcrap from anyone. She cares a whole lot for others, spending her time working as a speech-language pathologist for Shelby County Schools. I knew that it would take a pretty special guy to get to marry my baby sis (and yes I said get, and I meant it).
From the moment she started talking about John William, I knew something was different. He is a youth minister for a local church in Alabaster, Alabama, and that alone proves that he has the kindest and most giving heart. But that's not even what makes him the best - it's his humor, his cackling laugh and love of belting Jennifer Hudson ballads that really makes Haley love him (and the rest of our family too!!)
It has warmed my heart to tears to see the love that Haley + JW share, and I was so so honored to be asked to be her Matron of Honor on her big day. But before that day gets here, we got to have a day of fun running across Birmingham rooftops and frolicking through parks for their engagement photos. They made me laugh all day long, and it was the PERFECT description of the two of them as a couple.
But I mean just LOOK at this PURE MAGIC!!
