I met Brooke for the first time when we were barely out of diapers. Both from a tiny town in rural Alabama, we met in kindergarten. She also happened to be my aunt + uncle's neighbor so we used to play outside together on the swingsets all the time. We spent most of our young lives connected at the hip, going through all of those pivotal life moments together and all of the awkward years. There is never a time that I'll be able to look back at my childhood and not see Brooke right there by my side.
Fast forward to college, and we ended up right there together, all over again. We both attended college at the University of West Alabama, and that also happened to be where we both fell in love with our soulmates. I remember when Brooke met Clayton, something about the way she talked about him was just....different. I knew he was going to be it for her.
I was literally OVERJOYED when Brooke asked me to stay by her side for her big day, and I was just as excited for the opportunity to take engagement photos for Brooke + Clayton before their wedding.
It was seriously the BEST day!! We had so much fun together, and laughed, and adventured all over our little hometown to the most beautiful spots. Clayton loves Brooke so well, and it warms my heart to be right there to see it all happen.
