Since I'm new to this whole blogging journey, I promised you guys a fun Q&A to get to know the girl behind these posts + photos a little better. Some of these questions came from family & friends, and some of them are just things I thought y'all might want to know. 


I don't know about you, but I love a good Q&A. These little bite-sized snippets are always the most fun to read on blogs or in magazines. So without further ado, here are some fun get-to-know me facts!

What is your go-to cocktail? Vodka + cranberry juice or a simple glass of white zinfandel.


What is your #1 favorite tv show of all time? Gilmore Girls


If you could pick anywhere, what town or city would you choose to be from other than your own? I have a few places that I would love! New York City, Washington DC, Charleston, or Wilmington, NC. Or outside of the US, I'd love to live anywhere in Europe.


What is worth spending more money on to get the best? Haircare, for sure! And pop-tarts lolol.


Where is the most relaxing place you've ever traveled to? Bora Bora


What is the last place you traveled to? Charleston, SC

What was the first CD you ever bought? Britney Spears' Baby One More Time! Iconic.


How many photos do you have on your phone's camera roll right now? 5,059


Are you a morning person or a night owl? Night owl, for sure!


What website or app do you use way too often? Instagram


What's the single best day on the calendar? December 25. I'm SUCH a Christmas fanatic. It's the most magical time of the year!


What is your favorite way to relax? A long bath then curling up on the couch in my PJs with a good book.


What could you give a presentation on with absolutely zero prep? If you haven't already figured it out by now, I'm a total pop culture nerd. So, anything Gilmore Girls & One Tree Hill, and I would be golden!


What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lifetime? Travel! See the world. If nothing else but to see cultures outside of your own backyard.


What fictional place would you most like to visit? Top 3: Stars Hollow, CT from Gilmore Girls; Mystic Falls, VA from The Vampire Diaries; and Tree Hill, NC from One Tree Hill.


Who is your go-to band or artist when you can't decide on something to listen to? I'm such a music freak but my all-time fave go-to's are Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri, Lennon Stella, and the Jonas Brothers.


What is special about the place you grew up? I grew up in a tiny little town in West Alabama with only a few red lights. The sense of community and love in this town always warmed my heart & made me feel so at home. I'll never forget that.


If your childhood had a smell, what would that be? The smell of bubble bath and hairspray. When I was super little, I would take a bubble bath every Saturday night, and then my mom would curl my hair for church the next morning. We would hang out in our curlers, eating snacks, and watch Laverne & Shirley


What was the best book or series you have ever read? For a book, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. It's so beautifully written and makes me cry every time I read it. For series, The Selection series by Kiera Cass is like no other! 


What is the furthest you've traveled from home? Bora, Bora! 5,346 miles to be exact.

What city would you most love to live in? I've always been a city girl at heart so New York City would be my dream.


Why did you decide on the work you are doing now? I fell in love with the creativity that goes into a marketing communications degree. I wanted something that would always feed my passion and teach me new things - and that hasn't stopped yet!


What would be your most amazing adventure? A European vacation with my best girls!


What is your ideal city for a weekend trip? Wilmington, North Carolina


If your group of friends, what role do you play? I'm totally the mom, and no shame in that.


How different was your life one year ago? One year ago, I was planning my wedding to my college sweetheart, and I had also just started my job as the Communications Director at Liquid Life Vacation Rentals in Orange Beach where I fell in love with vacation rental marketing. I was also celebrating one year of living on the Gulf Coast! A lot of changes happened in the last year!


What is the title of the current chapter of your life? "Just Trying to Figure it All Out" And I'm sure some of y'all can relate!
